How we get your Minuet kitten to you if you are not local

By Lil Lisset's Minuets · Updated October 8, 2026

Minuet kitten in its new home

Many of our families live far from Connecticut. If you are not local, we will personally escort your kitten to your local airport, because your kitten's safe delivery is our priority.

If you live close enough, a simple drive may be easier. Every flight is negotiated individually, so contact us with your location and we will plan it together.

Your kitten arrives with TICA registration, shots, a vet health check, parasite treatment and our 1 year guarantee against genetic illness. You also receive organized paperwork and health history.

To start, send a $100 deposit. We accept Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, PayPal and crypto. Contact us and we will walk you through the steps.

What to expect at the airport

We personally escort your kitten to your local airport so the handoff is safe and well planned. We coordinate timing with you in advance and share all the details you need before travel day.

Preparing for arrival

Have a quiet room ready with a litter box, food and water. When your kitten arrives, give it time to rest and explore. Contact your veterinarian to schedule a first visit and bring the paperwork we provide.

Questions about timing

Flights are negotiated individually, so timing depends on your location and the airline. Send us your city and we will tell you the best options.

Questions families ask before flying

Most families want to know how stressful the trip is, how long it takes and who is with the kitten. We personally escort the kitten, so it is never alone in transit, and we plan the timing with you before travel day. Share your nearest airport and your preferred dates and we will talk through options openly.

Documents and paperwork

Your kitten comes with organized paperwork and health history, including the shots, vet health check and parasite treatment completed before departure. Keep these papers in a safe folder and bring them to your first veterinary appointment. They also make it simple to complete registration steps.

Settling in after the trip

After a flight, a kitten may be tired and a little unsure. Place the carrier in a quiet room, open it and let your kitten come out on its own. Offer water, a little food and a litter box. Keep the first day calm, limit visitors and let your kitten sleep. Most kittens begin to play within a day or two.

If you can drive instead

If you live close to Connecticut, a drive may be simpler and lets you meet the family and the cats in person. Visits are by appointment. Call (860) 736-3086 or send us a message and we will arrange a time that works for both of us.

A simple checklist for travel day

Confirm the arrival time and meeting point. Bring a sturdy carrier with a soft blanket, a towel, a few paper towels and a small bag of kitten food. Keep your phone handy. Greet the kitten calmly and avoid crowds at the airport. Head straight home, set up in a quiet room and let the kitten settle.

Costs and planning

Flights are negotiated individually, so ask for the full picture before you commit. Ask what is included, who handles the handoff and how timing is arranged. Clear communication on both sides makes the day smooth. Contact us with your city and we will walk through it step by step.
